				Scott and his team did a fantastic job and the inspection report was extremely thorough. They also took the time to walk me around the property before wrapping up. I got the report quickly and was then confident making a purchase having all of the facts. I also added on a well inspection which happened to come with a 90-day warranty. Less than a week after moving in, there was a leak at the holding tank. Welgard sent someone out same day to fix the issue (worn out valves that failed after the inspection). That’s $250 in repair costs that were covered. The services were a little more expensive but definitely worth it. I highly recommend!

				I am the owner and operator of Apex South Inspections. Yes, this review is going to be biased but there is no law that states you cannot review your own company. That being said, I wanted to be honest with the ones that actually vet and perform their due diligence when choosing their Home Inspector. Purchasing a property is a huge undertaking and investment that someone will go through, maybe only once in their lifetime. So why not make that experience the most memorable and rewarding one? After years of experience of providing thorough and comprehensive inspections for thousands of satisfied customers; I have realized a few tokens about the real estate industry that I would like to share. 1. Choosing an inspector based solely upon the lowest price is a skewed perception of value. What you save on the inspection fee could cost 10 x that amount in repairs. 2. When choosing an inspector, do not be hesitant on asking questions such as: • Are you certified, licensed, and insured? • Can you provide a sample report? • What other ancillary services do you provide? • What is included with the home inspection? • How soon will I receive the inspection report? • Will you access the roof and crawl space? • Can you provide repair estimates? 3. Choose your real estate agent as carefully as your inspector. The majority of the agents are ethical professionals that look out for the best interest of their clients. Unfortunately, there are a few that do not share the same ethics as their colleagues. Those agents look out for their interests, not yours. They will either provide or urge you to use a home inspector that is “soft” compared to today’s industry standards. This means that you will receive a bare bones report that helps “close the deal” easier for all parties involved. Leaving you stuck with the repairs or replacements. 4. If the property has been recently renovated or remodeled. Ask the seller, for applicable invoices and warranties. 5. READ YOUR INSPECTION REPORT. Don’t hesitate to contact your inspector to discuss any questions that you may have. I trust that this information has been helpful in making the right decision on choosing the right professionals in assisting you with one of your largest purchases. Hopefully, it will be us at Apex South Inspections.

				Best home inspector in Decatur County. Their crawl space inspection robot discovered, so many damages to the foundation of the house I wanted to buy. I probably won't buy the house, but I am definitely using Apex South Inspections again! After the job was done Scott Brinson was still very helpful! He would answer any questions or concerns of mine. The home inspection report was finished night of the inspection and was very well detailed. I also paid to have him inspect the well, but due to a broken gauge he wasn't able to measure the flow rate. However, the next day he figured out how to bypass the problem and was able to go back to the property and complete the well report.
